Amanda and Andrew’s engagement session at Mel’s Diner in Fremont was such a perfect reflection of who they are. When I’m planning sessions, I always love to lean into what my couples genuinely love doing together rather than defaulting to a “typical” location. These two are total foodies — always trying new spots, sharing meals, and making memories around it — so Mel’s felt like the perfect fit. Add in their love for film, nostalgia, and all things romantic, and it all just came together so effortlessly. Milkshakes, fries, and a little bit of vintage charm… it doesn’t get much better than that.
